🧠 Why Increase Email Storage?
In Direct Admin, each email account can have its own storage limit (also called quota) usually set to 50MB if the user never set it when creating the email address. If a user runs out of space, they can’t send or receive emails. You can:
Increase the individual mailbox quota.
Or let it use all available space from the hosting account’s total quota.
1. Login to your Direct Admin control panel and then select Email as per the screenshot below.

2. On the next page, you will get a list of your email addresses that you have.
Click on the 3 dots as per the image below to open the individual email menu

3. On the menu, select Change Limits as per the image below

4. On the next page, enter the new limits you want, on the Email Quota section. enter the new limits you want for example , 500MB or 5000MB if you want 5GB , also you can select Max (recommended) so you can let it use all available space from the hosting account’s total quota.

5. When done , Save your changes and that’s it, you have increased your email storage limit.
